Case Study
Fiable Building Solutions
A high-performance corporate platform for a civil engineering firm β with a custom MongoDB CMS, automated lead capture, and localized SEO that drove a 3x increase in lead generation.

10+ years of expertise, invisible online
Fiable Building Solutions has a 10+ year legacy in civil engineering β waterproofing, structural rehabilitation, epoxy flooring, and construction chemicals. Their offline reputation was strong, but their digital footprint didn't match their expertise.
Their previous website was a static brochure that couldn't be updated without developer intervention. No blog for content marketing, no project portfolio to showcase completed work, no lead capture beyond a basic email link. When a property developer searched "waterproofing contractor near me," Fiable wasn't in the results.
They needed a platform that would do three things: generate leads automatically, let their marketing team manage content independently, and rank for local search queries in their service areas.
Goals
- Build a corporate platform that generates leads 24/7
- Create a CMS so the marketing team can manage content without developers
- Implement local SEO for waterproofing and construction search queries
- Showcase completed projects with detailed case studies
- Launch a blog for content marketing and organic traffic growth
Constraints
- 4-week timeline to coincide with a marketing campaign launch
- Non-technical team needs to manage all content independently
- Must achieve 95+ Lighthouse performance for Core Web Vitals ranking
- Lead data must integrate with existing Google Workspace workflow
Measurable business impact
Comparing the 3 months after launch against the previous static website.
What we built and why
Custom MongoDB CMS
The marketing team manages projects, blog articles, career listings, and service pages through a secure admin dashboard. Rich text editor for blog posts, image upload for project galleries, and auto-generated URL slugs. Content changes appear live immediately β no developer deployment step needed.
Dual-Channel Lead Capture
Every form submission goes through two independent channels: Google Sheets (for the team's existing workflow) and Nodemailer (HTML-formatted email notification). If one channel fails, the other captures the lead. Zero leads lost, and the team can work with data in the tool they already use.
Localized SEO Architecture
Programmatic SEO pages targeting local waterproofing and construction queries. JSON-LD structured data on every page. Canonical tags preventing duplicate content. The 98+ Lighthouse score directly improves Core Web Vitals rankings for local search queries.
Premium Animated Frontend
Framer Motion animations for service card reveals and section transitions. Aceternity UI components for beam effects and SVG masks. The design communicates 'modern engineering firm' β not 'construction company with a basic website.' First impressions drive whether a property developer contacts the firm.
Platform interfaces

Why we chose each tool
Next.js 15
App Router for server-rendered service pages (critical for local SEO), API routes for form handling and CMS endpoints, and static generation for blog articles to handle traffic spikes from content marketing.
MongoDB + Mongoose
The custom CMS stores projects, blog posts, career listings, and services. Document-based storage handles the varied content types (a blog post has different fields than a project case study) without rigid schema constraints.
Google Apps Script
Lead data flows directly into Google Sheets via Apps Script β no separate CRM needed. The firm's team already works in Google Workspace, so leads appear in their existing workflow. Nodemailer triggers HTML notification emails as backup.
JWT + bcryptjs
Secure admin dashboard for content management. The firm's marketing team logs in to add projects, publish blog posts, and manage career listings without touching code.
Framer Motion
Subtle animations for service card reveals and section transitions. Construction firms need to look modern without being flashy β the animations communicate technical competence.

Frontend & Animations
Week 3
Developed the Next.js frontend with Framer Motion animations, Aceternity UI components, and responsive layouts optimized for construction industry clients.
Lead System & Launch
Week 4
Integrated Google Apps Script + Nodemailer for dual-channel lead capture, implemented JSON-LD schemas, optimized for 98+ Lighthouse score, and deployed.
"Our old website was just a static brochure. The new platform acts like a 24/7 sales representative, capturing leads efficiently while allowing us to seamlessly update our growing portfolio of projects and services.
