Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Milestone-Based Settlement
GenForge Studio operates on transparent, milestone-gated agreements. Because our services involve dedicated senior engineering allocation, architecture design, and custom codebase authorship, engagements are billed in phased tranches (e.g., Kickoff & Architecture, Staging Deployment, Final Handover).
2. Cancellation Prior to Sprint Kickoff
If an engagement is terminated by the client before sprint execution begins (within 72 hours of contract execution and prior to architecture delivery), the initial deposit is eligible for a full refund minus any third-party transaction or cloud provisioning costs incurred.
3. Work-in-Progress & Staging Sign-Off
Once an engineering milestone has been delivered on the staging environment and approved by the client, funds allocated to that milestone become non-refundable. If either party terminates the project mid-engagement, the client retains all intellectual property and source code produced up to the last approved milestone.
4. Quality Guarantee & Bug Remediation
We stand firmly behind our code. If any functionality fails to perform according to the agreed Statement of Work during the 30-day post-launch warranty window, our engineering team fixes the discrepancy at zero additional charge.
